News from Peggy Lee

I have been busy making scrapbook layouts for awhile now, trying to be creative everyday for more scrapbook inspiration hop over to my other blog http://pegbaker.blogspot.com the flowers are made from strips of fabric I had laying around my sewing area, simple tied a knot at one end and rolled toward me and glued as I turned. I will post a more detailed post and pics soon. I have started my veggies inside but the weather isn't helping us outside, here in East Coast it can be touch and go in the Spring.
as you can see in the this next photo which was at the end of April, we got 9 inches of snow of course it melted right away but yuck, the weather man is saying for more snow this weekend. Come on I want summer already......winter is so long here.
more inspiration-trying my hand at blending inks over stamped images..love how these came out, going to make them into wall art for our house.

Here is Olivia she just turned 17 years old on Wednesday, where does the time go, she was only 7 when we moved home. Olivia is doing a little better with her health but we are still waiting for some test to come back.

What I've been Doing!

Spring is trying to come in the Northeast Coast here in New Hampshire, yes today is going to be a beautiful sunny day Yeah more yard work to be done....
Here is a pic of my daughter Olivia and me, you see my time has been spent taking care of her, she has been very ill for over a month and we have been in and out of doctor offices, blood work and missing alot of school. These photos are from last week, Olivia had a small procidure done. Now we are on the waiting game again for the test to come back. This is why I have been away from blogging. Sorry for that.

Poor girl first time in a hospital gown, room and hooked up the tubes, she wasn't very happy but they let her bring in her favorite frog....next photo is a layout I did with some new scrapbook papers I bought, I love how it turned out..and it's of Olivia.

Glitter is a flying!!!

The glitter was flown onto the floor for little miss kittie to run through it!! Glitter world I have been busy in, getting ready for the holidays, and working on some new artwork.

Christmas tag/ornament made from a coaster from our local rest. 99 which I turned into cuteness!! This could go on a tree, or gift or be a present itself.
Our Hero layout is of my mom (who had a major stroke a few years back) my daughters just love how strong and how grammie never gives up. ok the tears are coming so enough of that.

Around the House/ Birthday art

Here a few pics of around our house, we are in the process of redoing the living room walls, the only walls that wasn't done (besides our bedroom) that wasn't finished when we bought this house a year ago. It's been a slow process with work, kids and of course bills. (van breaking down two days after Christmas) ok got that off my chest. So now onto the colors, that has been a battle in it self, oh man the color choices a person has CRAZY, we have chosen I think (pine needle green, dark cranberry, almond oil tan color)
The last pic is of some yard sale finds from a while ago.
SNEAK PEAK AT MY BIRTHDAY ART I DID FOR MYSELF. (oops left the caps on)

To see more pics of birthday art (39yrs and holding) hop on over to http://pegbaker.blogspot.com for a closer look. I had so much fun playing in my studio and getting messy, this wall art is to hang in my studio for inspiration. enjoy

Father's

Here is a scrapbook layout I will be teaching this fall at our Annual Women's Fall Retreat, this is my husband Lee when a young boy with his father Carl (who is no longer with us but we miss him). Teaching the ladies how to scrapbook in a plain frame. I thought with Father's Day coming up this weekend, it was something to share. Let's remember the men in our lives and honor the ones gone before us.
